Lions coaching quartet will mastermind success over All Blacks

link:

England head coach Eddie Jones thinks Steve Borthwick will find the key to beating New Zealand with the British and Irish lions.

Red Rose forwards coach Borthwick was named by Lions chief Warren Gatland as part of his team for next summer's New Zealand tour. Jones has not been shy in saying he wants England to be ranked No.1 in the world and he believes that Borthwick will provide vital insight after working to plot the All Blacks downfall.

It's a great learning experience for him and he gets the opportunity of learning how to beat the Kiwis, which is important, Jones told sky Sports HQ. He's a very analytical coach, a very serious coach and he knows more about line- outs than anyone in the world.

John Key Resigns As Prime Minister

john key

Prime Minister John Key has resigned from his position and will step down next week.

Just before midday the Prime Minister's office announced that they will hold a special news conference at 12.00 pm. There, Mr Key will announce he'll resign, saying it was the hardest decision he ever made. To me, this feels like the right time to go.

Mr Key's resignation means that the National Party will now need to elect a new leader. John Key has been in Parliament for 10 years and has been Prime Minister for 8 years.

Van Gisbergen wins Supercars

Super cars driver Shane van Gisbergen has become the first New Zealander to win the Australian Super car title for 25 years.

Van Gisbergen finished third n the second to last race of the season. The result gave him enough points to claim the title from the race winner Jamie Whincup. It was a dramatic race for van Gisbergen, who started from pole position before falling back to 22nd after being forced to drive through the pit lane as a penalty for contact with another car.

The 27- year old clawed his way back through the field in the last 20 laps, however, to claim the title. The kiwi had a 148 point advantage over Red Bull Racing teammate Whincup going into the final two races at Sydney Olympic Park, Needing fifth or better to wrap up the title in the of first two 250km races.
