Martin Guptill leads way for Blackcaps in warm-up win over Sri Lanka
The Black caps have rediscovered their form with the bat in chasing down Sri Lanka challenging 357 in their final champions trophy warm up match at Edgbaston in Birmingham.

We Made History!
Yesterday The year 5&6 and 7&8 soccer team went over to Point England reserve to play in the Soccer Inter school team we play in the B pool. We won our first 1-0 against glen Taylor and we lost our next match 1-0. From there on we kept a winning streak it and it then was the semi finals this we to go to the finals we bet Panmure Bridge 4-0 It was the last match we played against Stone fields it was a hard and epic match the final score was 0-0 it was equal also so we both came first place.
The MVP was Lupe & the top scorer was me We were happy and enjoyed or day.

Thick fog choking Christchurch
A Blanket of thick fog has smothered Christchurch on Wednesday morning and about at least 20 flights have been cancelled at Christchurch International Airport. Authorities have warned drivers to take on the road and to use their headlights. Met Service says coastal areas down east coast of the south Island will be covered with fog .

Tangiwai memorial unveiled for unsung heroes
A memorial has come out for two men whose selfless actions saved 134 lives during the Tangiwai train disaster in the central North Island. It's been 60 years since the crash and Sunday was the first time their actions have been correctly recognized. The families of train driver Charles Parker and fire man lance red man paid tribute to the men at the service along with survivors of New Zealand's worst rail disaster.

Israeli man missing on West Coast

A search and rescue operation has been launched near west port on the West Coast for a missing Israeli man. The 40 year old was last seen in the Bucklands peaks are of the Paparoa National Park on Tuesday. He was seen wearing dark trousers and a red jacket at the time. Police have care for his safety as weather conditions have been dangerous with high winds rain and some temperatures in the area dropping below 0degC over the last few days.
